Pasig City — Having an adequate home is now, more than ever, a matter of life and death.

In celebration of World Habitat Day and as part of Urban October, the Center for Research and Communication, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Philippines and Habitat’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter (TCIS),  are hosting “BAHAYnihan: Rising Together through Housing” — an online forum that aims to build awareness of the housing needs of the country and the unserved population. Register to join leading experts for a thought-provoking discussion on tackling housing issues intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic and finding solutions to the Philippines’ increasing housing gap.

Happening on October 28, the forum will officially launch new housing reports commissioned by TCIS.

The first, “Clearing the Housing Backlog: An updated supply and demand study on unserved owner-driven construction segment in the Philippines,” will be presented by UA&P University President Dr. Winston Conrad B. Padojinog.

The second, “Impact of COVID-19 on the low-income housing market systems in the Philippines,” will be presented by Mr. Naeem Razwani, Director (Global) of Financial Inclusion and Capital Markets at Habitat for Humanity International’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter.
