Joint Book Launch
The University held its first major book launch outside the campus last February 10, 2011 at The Forum of Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City.
The following books were featured: Tongues of Men, Dreams of Angels – a collection of poems by the late Marciano Malvar Guzman. Romance and Revolution – a historical work that looks into the lives and times of national hero Jose Rizal and his beloved Josephine Bracken by Fr. Luis Lisa and Fr. Javier de Pedro. The Work of Children – winner of last year’s Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) Jaime Cardinal Sin’s Best Book Award for Family Life.
The CRC-sponsored event is also in collaboration with the Department of History and Department of Literature of the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as the School of Education.
