In food and agribusiness, CRC has helped food product distributors, industry associations, and government agencies to analyze regional supply value chains, improve the quality of business data, assess the impact of proposed new industry taxes, and evaluate losses from threats such as smuggled products. Sub-areas in which CRC has done this work include palm oil, non-alcoholic beverages, and sugar, among others.
