Looking to take your first steps towards being a full-fledged Data Protection Officer?
The UA&P Center for Research and Communication, in partnership with National Association of Data Protection Officers of the Philippines (NADPOP) is offering a Data Protection Officers Foundational and Certification Course on March 11 – 14, 2020 at the University of Asia & the Pacific in Ortigas, Pasig.
By the end of the 3.5-day instructor-led training, participants will take an examination which will determine whether they can be certified for their mastery of the following areas: (1) the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations; (2) the WHAT, WHY and HOW of Data Protection and implementing data security in the enterprise; (3) the duties, roles, responsibilities and accountability of a Data Privacy/Protection Officer; and (4) the accountabilities and responsibilities of the enterprise in protecting its data assets.
