UA&P signed a Memorandum of Agreement to facilitate training for PhilHealth employees, as part of the PhilHealth Program for Capability Building and as an activity under the UA&P Extension Program. The two-day trainings organized by the Center for Research and Communication were conducted from September 30 to December 4, 2015 at the Oakwood Hotel and at the Ace Hotel and Suites in Pasig City. Below are the topics and the resource speakers:
Technical Writing applied to Financial Statement for Fund Management Sector by Lydia Yuson Business Process Improvement for Management Services Sector by Theresa Benitez Project Monitoring and Evaluation for Health Finance Policy Sector by Vicente Mauricio Strategic Thinking and Policy Formulation for Member Management Group by Dr. Veronica Ramirez Technical Writing for Information Management Sector by Dr. Joel Mendoza and Leni Sunico Legal Research & Technical Writing by Atty. Romeo Raymund Santos
There was a marked improvement in the knowledge level of employees from different PhilHealth sectors, as shown by their pre-test and post-test scores. Based on the results of the training, recommendations were given by UA&P for further trainings, which will be conducted in 2016.
