[UA&P, Pasig City]: The Center for Research and Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific successfully completed its first onsite run of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) Foundational Course on February 16, 17, 23, 24, and March 1, 2024 at UA&P.

The DPO Foundational Course is designed to equip professionals with the fundamental knowledge and skills essential for data privacy professionals.  This DPO Foundational Course is only one of CRC-UA&P’s initiatives in continuing real-world education in upskilling the Philippine workforce. 

A total of fourteen graduates from various organizations participated in this recent run, contributing to the over 200 graduates who have completed the course since its inception in 2022. This group hails from diverse sectors including finance, banking, law, information technology, advertising, food and beverage manufacturing, and hospitality, further validating the breadth and depth of CRC’s influence as an educational institution in upskilling the workforce.
