CRC held a round table discussion on the theme, The Influence of Sports on the Cultivation of Virtue: Towards the Continuing Personal Formation of Street Children through Street Football at the University of Asia and the Pacific on August 6, 2014. The objective of the RTD is to highlight research on the personal formation of street children through street football training in the recently concluded Ambassadors Cup. Dr.
Antonio Torralba, a member of the UA&P Board of Trustees and holder of the Mariano and Estelita de Jesus Que Professorial Chair for Family and Youth Education, welcomed the guests to UA&P, and gave a brief introduction about the activity. After which, Mr. Leon Peckson, CRC Liaison of the Ambassadors Cup Task Force, presented on “Review of the Setting, Motives, and Perspective of the Research.”
Dr. Torralba presented the results of the research.
