The Center for Research and Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific (CRC-UA&P) invites members of workers cooperatives to the 1st Philippine Workers Cooperative Conference with the theme, Workers Cooperative: A Vital Partner towards Poverty Alleviation and Socio-Economic Development on September 25, 2012 (Tuesday) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
The conference will bring together key stakeholders who are genuinely concerned with the development of Workers Cooperatives. Through this conference, we hope to be able to address the question, “How can we strengthen Workers Cooperatives as vital partners towards poverty alleviation and socio-economic development?”
A registration fee of P700.00 will be collected for the conference kit, souvenir program, certificate of participation and meals. Pre-registration is a must. For inquiries and registration, please call Ms. Marie Uy at telephone numbers (632) 634-5874 or (632) 637-0912 local 350 or email [email protected]
