2B. Part-time faculty who have served for five years or more may join group projects as co-proponents.

2C. Part-time faculty who have served for less than five years, current UA&P graduate students, and non-teaching staff may join group projects as project team members. The group will have to assign a faculty member to check the work of graduate students and staff for adherence to research standards.

3. The Selection Committee will give additional consideration for the following major criteria:

A. Multidisciplinary or inter-disciplinary research proposals

B. Mentoring of faculty, graduate students, and/or staff in research best practices

C. Proposals that would explore new research areas

D. Proposals that would contribute a major development to a current line of research

E. Proposals to develop the research results into an implementable social intervention, or a product/service/process with market value

4A. Faculty applicants as well as graduate student and staff team members should attach to the proposal application form their CVs, enumerating any previous involvement in consultancy or research projects.

4B. Probationary full-time faculty members should also attach a copy of their OpCom recommendation for full-time faculty status.

4C. The Excel budget spreadsheet on page 9 of the application form should also be filled out; or if not, a separate Excel budget file using the same format should be attached.

5. The CRC office at 6.5/F APEC Communications Building (ACB), UA&P, will accept hard copies of application forms until September 28, 2018 (Friday), 5:30 p.m. After that, filled-out application forms in Word format (using the Excel spreadsheet on page 9 of the proposal form, or a separate Excel budget attachment), together with scanned copies of CVs and other attachments, will be accepted through email address [email protected] not later than September 30, 2018 (Sunday).

6. Late proposal submissions will be considered for academic year 2019-2020.

7. Upon receipt of proposal applications and from October 1, 2018 onwards, CRC will process received applications for approval with the Academic Unit OpComs; for double-blind review by the Research Ethics Committee; and for double-blind evaluation by the Selection Committee.
